EMILY WRAY

Director of Client Placement

Why do you do the work you do?
I have always been led to help others. I started my career as a CNA in long-term care which is where I fell in love with helping seniors. I love their stories, their advice, and the valuable lessons you can learn. But what I love most of all are the connections you form with not only them, but their family members as well. Making a difference in someone’s life is what I strive to do on a daily basis.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
The people. Whether it’s a member, a family member, or a caregiver. Each person has their own story and learning those stories is what brings me joy. I enjoy the connections that can be made just by listening and being able to comfort in times of need. In my role, I often talk with family members or caregivers that are looking for resources. I love that Well-Spring Solutions is often that resource that provides a safe, loving, and enriching environment for our members.

Why is the type of work you do so important?
The need for options for seniors especially with Dementia or Alzheimer’s is growing and changing. Being able to offer a place where not only the member is well taken care of, but the caregiver has support and respite is a vital need.

What difference do you feel our service – and your work – makes for those we serve and their loved ones?
At Well-Spring Solutions you can feel how much we care. Our members become an extension of our own family. We have gifted team members skilled in Dementia and Alzheimer’s care which is shown by simple interactions, the care we provide, and the resources we share. When a family member or caregiver says, “I don’t know what we would do without Well-Spring Solutions” I know what we are doing is making a difference not only for them, but for the greater community as well.
