Documentary & Discussion

Join us for a screening of “Complaints of a Dutiful Daughter” followed by a brief discussion. In recounting her attempts to come to terms with her mother’s advancing Alzheimer’s disease, Deborah Hoffmann explores the relationship between mother and daughter, parent and child, and the tenacity of love.

Brain Fitness Fun Night
5:30-7 PM

Learn key areas to a healthy brain, including physical exercise, stress reduction and mental activity during this FUN night, as well as engage in brain-fitness games while socializing with fellow caregivers!

Laughter Yoga

Feeling stressed? Need a good laugh or a way to take your mind off of things? Try Laughter Yoga! Reduce stress and lift your spirits with exercises from Laughter Yoga instructor Lisa Levine, Director of Programs with Dementia Alliance of North Carolina.
