Why do you do the work you do?
My work brings me great joy! I absolutely love working with older adults. Every day I have the privilege of learning new life lessons from our members and families.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
I enjoy seeing the positive difference our staff makes in the lives of others. It is so exciting when we make a meaningful connection with our members or their families.

Why is the type of work you do so important?
It is very important for people going thru the difficult journey of dementia to have support and helpful resources. Many people are dealing with difficult losses and challenges. It is important that people don’t experience this alone but have others by their side.

What difference do you feel our service – and your work – makes for those we serve and their loved ones?
The Memory Care Center offers a safe, comfortable place for our members to socialize, be successful and have a meaningful day. Our hope is to add quality of life to those we serve. In addition, we offer family caregivers a much-needed respite and a professional, supportive resource network.
